Anyone know of UK supplers for inflatable slides? I am talking to Henshaw but any other options are welcome.
Needs to go on a Princess 85 therefore about a 5m drop.

I remember seeing some sort of floating pool at a boat show once. had a picture of a lovely big boat sat in a bay with this pool 10 yards off the bathing platform!

Yeah, I want one of those as well. They sell them at the big watersports place in Biot, if you're still based around Cote d'Azur.

Great toys. There are a couple of ~80m yachts with huge ones no doubt custom made, and the maker most mentioned for mega yachts is www.freestyleslides.com. Here is a smaller one and you might catch the maker's name on the side and google it...

bouncycastlesales.com they make to order so should be able to sort you out with whatever you want, I think they go by 'pineapple leisure' now but not being associated with anything marine they should be a lot cheaper.

Hey everyone, thanks for your replies, I rather like the video.
It seems like rather a bulky object even when deflated and I wonder where we might stow such a thing. Also looks like it might take some time to rig. OK for boat where there are lots of crew but on the 85 we will not have such luxury.
When talking to Henshaw they indicated that the issue with bouncy castle type setups is that you have to have an air pump running constantly which I don't think we will want to do.
Will get some quotes in and share.

The 5m version is also 120 kgs, which makes it a four man job to move around easily, or two man with a bit of sweat and backache. Also means it has to be stored on the flybridge (unless you have flybridge crane), as its too heavy/bulky to take up the stairs.
Certainly not the simple lightweight jobby I had in mind.

That is what I thought. I already have a 4.5m RIB, 2 x Seabobs, 2 other inflatables toys plus dive gear to stow. I think this might be a step to far.
Or perhaps we need an upgrade! However on the basis we have only just taken delivery that isn't going to happen.
Will see what solution Henshaws come back with.

Richard your pic is the Oceanco Lazy Z, known for her big slide!
Lozzer, the bouncy castles aren't airtight and leak air thru the seams, which is why a pump runs the whole time. You could have this thing made airtight so you don't need the pump. But there is no getting away from the fact this thing will be big and heavy, and therefore perhaps too much clobber on a p85

D) have you thought about a sailing boat eg Laser or Pico or similar? Or the inflatable version of Hobie's mirage-drive pedal kayak? Each of which choices is about £4-5k in the UK, btw

I doubt the bouncy castle people would make it the same as a standard unit as the stitching would rot quite quickly with regular dips in the oggin.
If they think there is a demand for this sort of thing then they might come up with something that suits.
Just for info:-
I have some bouncy castles and the biggest takes a fan with a runing load of 600w, and that one has had over 30 people on it at the same time. A slide of the size shown would not need a big noisy fan to keep it inflated.
The adult castle is 4.5m square with sides and roof and a step on the front, it weighs approx 80Kgs
