inflatable repair kit (hull material)

If it is only a slow leak the reason might be porosity, in which case you might need many patches. It is possible to use an internal sealant as advrtised by inflatable dealers. I have used a car tyre injector at a cost of about a fiver.

As already said you need the correct type of adhesive for your inflatables's material. Another good tip is to use a heat-gun to warm up the adhesive: the adhesive I used said:
lightly abraise both patch and tube with fine wet and dry; then clean both with acetone or similar; then apply the adhesive to both the patch and the tube, wait 20 mins then re-apply adhesive to both; then heat both parts with a heat-gun until adhesive on both parts starts to "bubble"; then put them together. These parts will then stick like s**t to a proverbial blanket. You should do this work with an ambient temperature of around 17C or more.
I have done the same thing without using the heat-gun and they do stick but nothing like the way in which they stick when the glue is hot!!!
