Increased tax on red diesel

This one passed me by last week, hope it's not the start of a campaign by Gordon!

Increase in the duties for rebated gas oil (red diesel) and fuel oil – which have higher levels of sulphur than road fuels – by one penny per litre above revalorisation, from today;

<font color=blue> Hmmm! How does that affect MDL Marinas such as Bray and Windsor who sell low suplhur fuels only? that is regular road deisel with just the dye added.

There has been a tax increase on red diesel of 1.09p per litre from the day of the budget.
In reply to Byron's note we have just reduced our diesel price by 17.5% at Bray and Windsor by renegotiating our fuel supplier to Shell.

Until we sell the fuel in our tanks the price will remain. I will take a view when we refill.
