Purchase new gps cable, usb adaptor and mobile phone data cable off ebay.Priced respectively @ £10 (maplins £25), £15 (maplins£ 25) , £8.50(vodaphone £30). My first ebay purchases, and at these savings not the last. Now back to ebay boats and watercraft to spend more cash.

Just finished insulating, lining and wiring a new potting shed for SWMBO.

All I have got to do now in rig up a waterbutt feed fro the guttering I have got to fix.
O and some more shelves would be nice.
Then I may get her to remove all her junk (equipment) from my shed so I can get in to start my winter overhaul of my steam loco.

Sorry, not very trivial.
I have got to take yougest to mates house.

What a boring bunch of Southern wusses! I'm out at sea sailing from Aberystwyth to Pwllheli on extravert's trimaran. Sunny skies, empty sea, great views, and freezing cold tootsies.

Usual Sunday jobs apart from Christmas Decorations and dog

Collect mother-in-law (who has Alzeimers)
Assure her it IS her flat and YES it is all your belongings and I AM taking you to eldest daughters house, erm no she is married to me......etc
Amazes me I can still laugh at Alzeimers jokes.

Dog belongs to my daughter but I always seem to have it as much as her.
I thought she might make a good sea dog until yesterday at the yard.
She saw the creek and shot off like a rocket across the north Kent mud,
still smells even after bath!

Ah well back to decs.

Regards Briani

We were planning to go sailing today, but the forecast was lying and there is a big fat zero wind. Instead we went to the National Aquarium at the Barbican in Plymouth to " take the kids"- it was brilliant, and even better, after witnessing the racing in the Sound, we were convinced that not sailing ( drifting) was a good decision.

What I can't believe is that I went into a chandlers and came out emptyhanded- must be coming down with something.

You and me both. Starting to shop around a little. Went to bed shop, bargain only £480 for just the mattress. erm, bad back-matress. Buy it. Now all I need is some for the boat, when I (my wallet) recover .
