Is this possible with a displacement speed boat that needs to run with tide in and out?
It is about 50NM each way. Assuming that you can cruise at 6 knots and you can average an additional about 2 knots from the tides you are still looking at running for at least 12.5 hours non-stop.
So yes, you could do it but it will be pretty hard work. If you get delayed anywhere then you will end up punching the tide and could run out of daylight.
