Im clueless: Looking for a nice bowrider- Mar Menor.

I have a small boat in Spain, Jeanneau cap camarat 4.7 that I bought in the UK and towed over to Spain through France. That would be a problem now, but hopefully not for ever. Keeping the boat on its own trailer in the local marina keeps maintenance down to a minimum, and as the boat is always covered it still looks like new.
We stayed in a house overlooking Thomas Maestre marina a few years back in February. It was almost completely dead, maybe 1 for 2 bars open at most. As already said it's a long drive out to the marina, and I'm told in summer it can take an hour either way from the mainland, although there is a ferry that runs from one of the towns, I cant remember which.
As already advised I'd look at other more convenient marinas.

I took a 20ft bowrider to Spain every year for a number of years. I would not go smaller than this if there are more than 2 if you. Would be cramped when sitting on anchor enjoying the sun. I had a 15ft center console before that eith a sundeck in the bow. Was ok, but too small.
Downside of most bowrider is the hull is designed for flat water. As others have said when the wind gets up the afternoon it can be a very uncomfortable and wet ride home. These boats do tend to slam wiote a lot. But perfectly safe if you watch the forecast and take your time.
The Cap camarats are worth a look. I think they have a better hull and you can get them with a nice sundeck if I recall. The bayliner element I think has very little protection from the elements.

Mine was a 2007 Mariah FS20 6.1m loved her to bits.

Yes I will do Long John, I looked at the Jeanneau boats at the show, but I was looking at bigger boats that time, I search old threads and there is a place where the boats is kept in dry dock all the time and as many launch and recover as you want,

This is really helpful. I would imagine there will be 5 or 6 people at a time, so will I bel looking for something around 7 metres then ?

I used to have a 20 foot sea ray bow rider in majorca, it was fine for day tripping with 4 people, and occasionally 6, and it handled the afternoon chop quite well for a small boat. but if you're normally going to be 6 people then you probably need something more in the 8m size range.

I currently have a windy 25 (not a bow rider) and it OK for 6 people, but it's a bit of a squeeze, I guess if it had an open bow it might feel a bit more spacious with 6 people.

Can you get a sessa key largo 22 or 25 for your budget? That'd be a decent choice.
