Most of the old gang seem to have either relocated or to have swallowed the anchor.

I’m still here. Still have my boat that I took my family around the world on. Of my coterie I’m probably the only one. Many have sadly passed or no longer have their boat. My Xmas card list is getting shorter.
Still miss the clear blue warm water.

This year, Ostend at Anchor will take place from 23 to 26 May. The theme will be "Discoveries at sea" with numerous replicas used to discover the world, but also a nod to the future and the "Blue Economy".
We are pleased to invite the "Jolie Brise” to participate in Ostend at Anchor once again. As we have a new website and registration

One most enjoyable things we did for a few years was Pirate Weekend at Stone Point.
In fact the sinking happed following a rushed return for that weekend.

Also still here since 2001! Fond memories of some great fitting up and laying down suppers as well as the Pirates weekends. It does seem some of the socialising has petered out a bit but times change and people move on or away
