I tried to jump start my car from another car. Alpha Romeo battery terminals are difficult / impossible to get a good grip with jump lead crocodile clips. So my solution was to force screw between the post and clamp and attach the croc to that.
I learned that there is enough power in a car battery to melt a nr 8 screw and set light to the surrounding plastic.

I think this may belong to the marine engineer who supposedly winterised my engine. He didn't touch the engine, just polished the prop which I did not request. Wanted £200 which he didn't get and he didn't protest about it.
