A friend's widowed mother has this boat in her shed - her late husband's - and she asked me to have a look with a view to how best to move it on.

From a poke around it seems incredibly solid, but scruffy. It's been (genuinely) dry stored for the last 8 years - brought home by the carpenter owner for works unknown. There's zero sign of any recent work having been done though.

On the face of it - scruffy, cold moulded wood, epoxy sheathed, deeply unfashionable deck house, hauled with unknown defects, cost-of-living crisis, and located in rural Monmouthshire - my inclination is that she'll do well if someone takes it away for nothing.

It is however a bonnie thing in it's way so I thought I'd see if you lot could possibly identify her and make any suggestions?

Just out of interest I took the rudder off the back of the keel and positioned it about four foot aft, much better control and fitted a much stiffer mast
That makes sense, I thought it looked odd that far forward and ahead of the prop, but assumed it was for strength/ protection.
