i have a 34foot with 2x370HP inboard diesel, im thinking about either use rariran water strainer or vetus 2" intakes, does anyone recomend or not them? Im afraid to use a weak product.

I had two inch Vetus strainers in my last two boats , grey with clear lids and a cross embossed on the top to give you hand grip.

They were excellent , you could see if there was anything in them and its easy to spin off the top and clear out the basket.

Unlike the bloody stupid ones I have now with a glass lid and four bolts.

Welcome to the forum.
It is not clear whether you are talking about seacocks or water strainers. Seacocks are usually (from Vetus) 1.5 inches diamerter. Or are you talking about their plastic water strainers which are available in a wide range of capacities depending on the watrer flow rate of your engines.

Both products if correctly sized are suitable.
