Yes, it will float - just - in standard specification. It seems though that it's only marginally buoyant and floats upside-down with the base level with the surface of the water. Don't know whether it would be easy to spot it.

As for how long, its supposed to withstand 1m depth for 30 mins, so I guess it will float long enough for recovery.

Yes she does float and I think their paperwork says something like "can be recovered in calm sea conditions" what ever that may mean.
