You obviously haven't met with the Harbour Launch yet. The helmsman doesn't need a loudhailer, I've seen him yell across 200 yards of water with such gusto at some jetski's playing slalom among the moorings that the seagulls at the far end of the estuary took off like a panicked flock of pigeons.

You had better use a quad on your dinghy then to make it a bit faster.
