I don't know what you people are talking about...

In 30 days of being aboard this season (almost all sailing) I only experienced 2 days of drizzle - not even proper rain! :D

On board now, fan-heater going (free lecky on the club hammerhead), warmth coming out of the Roberts radio, and warm inside with a small tumbler of Jura single malt...

Going to test the storm jib tomorrow!

Do tell how you get on ;)

Never-mind the Butcher, the Reverend & Mr T-Total

But my 'old-pal' the ex Teacher & Folk Singer (Old Sea Dog) + his ‘luv-ley’ ‘SWMBO’ (new to the sport) came for a weekend sailing with me & their comment was “outstanding” ..... one of the best sailing weekends ever!

So book early on the ‘good-ship’ Gina for next season. ;) :)

If you are going out on the Solent today, from where I'm sat in Cowes Yacht Haven, this will be your third day of drizzle, and you will need your storm jib because its blowing about 30knots.

It could improve a bit but the forecast seems to suggest a couple of squalls will pass through to liven things up a bit.

So good luck, and tie down the Roberts radio before you set off.

Cheers
