Sustained speed was in the high sevens, but there were a few bursts above eight. My guess at that wind angle would be about 10kts true. Next time I'll press the button and find out.

that's pretty good. I wouldn't be confident of walking away from you in a 37 footer with a full crew and a reaching kite!
