Just got in from work and I see missed some hoo ha about DF Light and Bayliner or something. The suspense is killing me, so come on guys fill me in with the gory details ( or as much as you dare).

I see from his profile that he only registered today, and that he is an estate agent- nuff said.

Re: me too

but i got peculair text about 2pm about binliners. No I have posted a dangling reply asking for his taste in C+W - the other just went for him. Wd've been much better if proper discush re floppy carpet, Charlie Rich, George hamilton IV and umm well I bet I cd've kept going a little bit. They all ruined it. But eventually he evid. swore at someone, mebbe BarryD, and all got pulled.

Re: me too

I believe - he started defending my right to choose a petrol cheapie, then had a go at the members for not being polite to me. Then got a bit hacked off at the fact he likes Bayliners and had just bought one at a silly high price. It all got a bit confused as everyone accused everyone else of spoofing a new user for wind-up purposes (Matt you and me were implicated). He got a bit upset 'cos no one was taking him seriously, and finally he lost it and threatened to sink anyone who got in his way, cancel his MBM subscription and called the moderators to task to control the forum. Result: Thread canned and he's not posted since.

Anyone else got a different view?

it was an MBY subscription....

that he threatened to cancel so he was reading the wrong mag anyway as that's only for prinxess/fairloan/sunstinker owners although strangely the mag only runs a little Nimbus now

Carvup/Binliner owners should get Exchange & Mart instead!

Re: Can\'t leave you lot alone for a minute!

I've been on away for a couple of days sampling the delights of Manchester and Slough and what do I find when I come back - I've missed all the fun. It sounds as if it was the best fun since someone got annoyed with Haydn (HLB) for being a smoker!

Can't leave you lot alone for a moment before you are misbehaving!

Good job you were away, it has already cost jfm a tank full of fuel (although I see that he now seems unsure as to which tank!) so just think how much trouble you could have got yourself into.

Re: paltry excuse Nick, where woz you?

Are there any free tickets for the fuelling show? As to internet in Manchester and Slough, I'm not sure if they are civilised enough to have it but I could be wrong.

Anyway, years of lugging laptops and accompanying wads of (largely) useless paper about wrecked my shoulders (large bag +shoulder strap). Now I travel light and since the tightened airline security, I try to have the absolute minimum so that I don't have to put anything into the hold and wait for the usual 1.5 hours at Heathrow.
I have a dinky HP Jornada 720 handheld which connects to the net but I use it very sparingly as hotel telephone connections are outrageously expensive and my mobile was too slow. I have just got a new mobile which claims to have a modem which operates at near landline speed (48k) so I'll give that a try.

Anyway, with the lack of CF activity, can you afford this load of fuel? I think insolvency (sorry, corporate recovery or whatever the current euphemism is) is looking a good number to be in. I'm polishing up my permit as we speak.

Yes you can have ringside seat, date TBA, though he's actually selling it apparently, sse a higher up thread.

I never got an insolvency licence, bad move that I spose, will have to pass the time doing CPE forms and stuff, and eek out living helping LBO firms understand those (now breached) debt covenants wot I wrote.

Those Jornadas with the colour screen are very chic. You can get plotter software to run on them, and connect a gps antenna to the slot in the back.
