Can anyone recommend a good boat cleaning company in or around the Hamble, that does not charge the earth?

Best way is do it yourself! Then cost out your rate per hour plus materials. I bet it will be more than the boat cleaners will charge! Oh, and then add on the insurance that the cleaner has to carry, plus the fact he/she has to make a living! What is the boat and roughly how much are you prepared to pay?
The boat is a Squadron 52, and i don't mind paying good money for a proper job, but looking at some of the cleaning companies down that way they seem to charge a 'Hamble tax' on top for their services!
If i had the time to clean the boat myself i would do, however living 200 miles from the boat doesn't mean that i can get down to it frequently enough to clean it, i do however wash it when i can!
I appreciate the costs involved in running a business and also that a profit needs to be made, however washing a boat does not involve 'skilled' labour nor does it warrant expensive fancy offices, which need to be paid for by someone!
So its someone with a cloth and hot water you want?
Those that are involved in "detailing" are skilled with extensive knowledge of what products should be used and how to use them.
"Pay peanuts etc." Springs to mind.
I don't want to pay peanuts, all I am after is the boat washing and leathering off for a fair price, I don't consider £170 for this to be a reasonable cost!
