I really do hate cats. Not the ones that pretend to be boats but the ferrule, furry, fleabag type. A complete waste of DNA but lately we have been discussing where we can buy one every couple of days.
You see, when servicing the engine or doing some other frustrating task you need something to swear at and kick. We think two days would be about right to keep one as after that they would know when you are looking for something to kick and do a runner.
What makes matters worse is another boat with cats aboard lets them roam freely. Now I understand a bit of freedom but our boat is out of bounds. They have started using the boat next door as their personal toilet. They wouldn't even read the forums and consider doing the “bucket and chuck” it thing.. They just leave it on the deck for others.
I caught one of them parading along our deck yesterday. I was going to do an experiment and see which way up it landed when dropped from the spreaders into the sea but unfortunately the owner was there so I had to throw it onto the pontoon instead.
So, if anyone has any Kicking cats out there.. please let us know.
(No animals apart from cats were harmed during the construction of this post. All dissections were made for experimental purposes to aide my curiosity)
