The radio has just stopped locking onto any channels and I have been told it needs reprogamming. Can anyone help. Ta.

My Huson 65 went to the skip graveyard last year (shame good set) mine had locked itself onto dual watch. I was offered one cheap that was locked onto 5watt transmit I know nothing about fixing radios, but the repairman told me the Microprocesor had busted and that it was a common fault with older sets. He said the only hope I had was to try and get a second hand procesor which proved impossible. Have it checked by all means but it may not be worth spending to much on it.
