Any predictions as to when the remnants of this storm are likely to hit our shores.

What happens to the thousands of boats over there? Seen the news and some get washed up ashore, but are most OK?

It seems to have tracked across Florida, and is heading for Texas (now downgraded to a Tropical Storm, with winds ONLY up to 90 mph!). Sadly, there is yet another one heading Florida's way, called Ivan, rated as a category 4 at present (winds up to 140mph) The poor buggers aren't getting much peace at the moment.

Maybe if they set the example by signing the Kyota agreements and did something to slow global warming I would have more sympathy.

Bollocks!

Your reply is wrong on so many levels it does not deserve comment, but it made me cross.

My vote is not bollocks - goood old America should think about what their polution is doing to the rest of the planet,

End before this kicks off into politics

I cannot say that the logic of your argument is very convincing...
