Hunter Delta 25

Crewed and cruised on a hunter delta 25 lift keel, as already said they are competitive against boleros and always left the two Andersons 22'S in the fleet standing. We sailed in some quite hairy weather and i remember an extremely rough sail over to Northern Ireland in it but it took it all in its stride.

Would have one tomorrow if i was in the market - as for lightly built - Really!! Complete nonsense.

A Hunter 19 certainly did

and so did a Leisure 17 FWIW. As a two times Hunter owner myself I took Seajet's earlier comments with a pinch of salt. He loves to damn with faint praise. I hold the marque in high regard and am glad they are still being built, albeit in much smaller numbers than at one time.

Each to their own; how many Delta's have gone across the Atlantic ?

Seajet. You can cross in anything :encouragement:

PS Had a Hunter Medina which I fitted out myself.

Changed it for a 'proper' little yacht after a season - Sadler 25 (bilge keel) a great boat for its size. Though the Hunter mouldings were superior IMO.
