Too cold by far, and the local workers are up in arms about it all anyway. TV report showed exactly what the incoming workers attitude was, with loads of finger and arm gestures coming from them. Can't see any good coming of this at all with unemployment levels in the area as bad as they are at the moment, things are likely to heat up to boiling point very fast
We both know what it's like around here at the moment, and I can't help thinking it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. So although not many from elsewhere are likely to take action, it's already started here, and I reckon it isn't going to be long before it all starts turning nasty. Don't intend getting involved in that but you won't see me filling up at a Total garage again for a long time
1. Does the Humber Estuary officially come under the heading "East Coast Forum"?
2. If you do blockade the Humber, Can you leave a lttle gap so I can get out for me holidays please. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
That's not what I've heard /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Joking /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Ignoring the fact that those South of me tend to be the most prolific posters on here /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif The Humber is most certainly part of this forum, maybe worth organising a gathering in this area to meet some more new faces ?
Ignore grumpy of Lowestoft /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif he says, with stirring spoon working at full speed /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'll have to take your word for it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
But I'm not putting them on the 'things to try before I die' list (for health reasons - the wife can be rather selfish /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif )
dave, none of those southern softies know how to navigate that far up the East Coast, they all think that you fall off the end of the world after Lowestoft /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Certainly is /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif there's a small contingent of Wash dwellers on here too. With some based at Boston and some where I am, at Fosdyke Yacht Haven (I like to call it that because it almost makes Fosdyke sound posh /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ) then some more round at Wells and even some at Wisbech. So the Humber is within reach for quite a few, just that most like to keep their hulls clean /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
