how to fit a morse cable...

Hello again my greatly knowledgeable Crew.

Again i'm in need of your help, and as usual..... i'm still as green as a sea cucumber

I need to connect my steering (front of cabin) to my tiller stock on the stern.

Can anyone give me some understanding how morse cables work or if there is another way for my steering wheel to control my rudder.

Any diagrams, comments, advice and story's are greatly and thankfully received
