I think a newly fabricated double bow roller is ideal solution but I guess pricey. You can also use the spare roller for a prodded/bowsprit to fly the cruising chute if replacing current set up.once you have the longer project bowroller you might then have a flat anchor but it seems a lot for a minor inconvenience unless you want the bowsprit set up as part of the reworked solution. Good luck -I would suggest speaking to a few riggers who might have other ideas.
