Have you had??

I am going to say my late Dads boats, as they were kind of mine too.

Princess 43, no bow thruster or heating, great to learn on.

Princess 52, great boat bow thruster and great hull, did loads of miles in her and never felt unsafe once.

Sealine S34, fun, loads of fun, not the cruising ability of the 52 unless weather great, but fun.

Oh I wonder who was on the rib??? :D

It depends what you mean by boat: excluding dinghies, windsurfers, row boats, canoes, etc - then, three:

Jeanneau Fantasia (Sailing)

Sunseeker Portofino 31 - which powerskipper taught me how to drive.

Aquastar 33 (current).

Nice boat but lots of corners and sea start, oooppps

Tee hee - I'd almost forgotten - we had to get sea start to get us off the pontoon 'cos the batteries were flat. Mind you, that was after you'd had to tell me what a battery key was and go and buy one: there was only one on the boat. You must have thought you'd been asked to train a right one. :D

Raggie things
Alacrity sloop
Buckler 23 ketch

Proper boats
Dolphin 19
Merry Fisher 625
Merry Fisher 695
Merry Fisher 805
Prestige 32
Sealine F43 (current)

Ribs
Avon (not sure what)
Rhino Rib (current)

Can we more on to motorbikes next ?

You loved that boat, it was going well, with a dirty bum......

No she didn't - had white antifoul that was a mistake. Stained badly. For a small boat, the Sprint is the best - knocks everything else into a cocked hat. Sealine S23/25 - pah - would eat em for breakfast. The hull was outstanding and after I'd put the 4 cylinder diesel in it was the dogs *******s.

Never been on a boat to match it size for size, or for that matter bigger. I would however have traded her for an S28.

Are past boats like past girlfriends, always better looking back ?

No, but after a time you know what you like. I get to be on more boats than the average punter, there are some that I think why the hell did you buy that?? Others that I simply can't afford. But the boat I'd have if I was spending money - would be Phantom 48 and the Fleming 55. Different boats in many ways - but so is the budget!
