The main problem is the increased time in putting a few litres of diesel, having to go up to marina office, filling in forms etc., instead of just paying the man on the pump.
We have made some slight changes...
1) I dont use diesel to light my BBQ anymore.
2) I dont dump barrels of oil off the back of the boat, and then ignite the spilled fuel with my flare gun at the key moment to escape badies, anymore.
The only pain for me is that you can't go to France carrying fuel in jerry cans. I only have a 90l tank and carry 2 20l cans. If I'm heading across the Channel I normally fill the jerry cans before I leave.
Isn't white cheaper in France?
