How good is tides marine sailtrack system

I have Bainbridge Sailman Series 35 slides with adjustable batten boxes, full battens. The slides fit in the normal mast track.
Pair of plastic slugs between each two battens. Simple and works well with lazy jacks. 33ft boat fractional rig.

Answering my own question: this video shows clearly the type of slider supplied for use with a non-fully-battened sail and also shows that the system works well with such a sail.

What is there to substitute for the sail gate?

There is a mast gate machined into the bottom of the Tides Marine track.
