We're off on our hols later today but there's nae wind .. so if I strapped a 400hp outboard to the sugar scoop, how fast do you think I'd be able to manage?
Outlook for next week suggests a chance of some sunny, sitting on a beach, type weather. Not sure about the wind though. Have a great time and remember to put petrol in the outboard.
Plan is to head towards StPP tomorrow on the way to Brittany so think I'll need loads of diesel and an early start!! Might stick around CI if sun is splitting the trees though!
Have you warned the Bailiwicks (sp) of the arrival of Glen Rosa?
I trust that their sea defences are up to it? How do you feel about going back to "The Cap"? Have you invested in the latest bit of essential safety gear, The Cycling Helmet?
On your boat, mate, I reckon all it would do would be to punch the transom up to the bow, and pluck out all the piles in the approach channel to Hythe Home for Confused Sailors.
