I’ve seen plenty of radio controlled boats before but never an RC travel hoist…

It works now...if you think about it, the real one down the port is also remote controlled with the operator holding the RC controller while he walks behind the crane

Having owned a T34 for 20 years and know pretty much every inch of it, I have to say that the detail and accuracy on this model is incredible. There's one or two irregularities, but on the whole it's amazing.

Wouldn‘t you just kill for a go on those models.

Mind you, that bow thruster needs replacingbwith something a tad quieter

Very good!

I think there have been links on here to that boat before, but not the travel hoist.

I have a rather nice Squadron 78 model, given to me very kindly by Fairline when they stopped production of Sq78. I think it's 1:20 scale, so 1.2m long. No motors - it was for boat show displays - and if I had nothing better to do I should ship it to these guys in Germany and ask them if they would convert it to a working model :)

I took the scale as 1:20 and with a bit of reverse engineering and a couple of days on CAD I think I've managed to recreate an accurate scale representation of a scatter cushion 20230119_143905.jpg
