I’ve seen plenty of radio controlled boats before but never an RC travel hoist…
I edited it a couple of times after posting. Should work now, I get a preview of the video in the thread.Henry, can you check your link please
It works now...if you think about it, the real one down the port is also remote controlled with the operator holding the RC controller while he walks behind the craneI’ve seen plenty of radio controlled boats before but never an RC travel hoist…
So do MDL.Burnham Yacht Harbour have had one for years.
Guard rails are a bit high and the bathing platform shower is missing. Otherwise, pretty good!Having owned a T34 for 20 years and know pretty much every inch of it, I have to say that the detail and accuracy on this model is incredible. There's one or two irregularities, but on the whole it's amazing.
Beat me to it on the shirt comment ??Was the skipper's shirt accurate for a Fairline owner?. Joking aside , that must have been a lot of work?. Didn't spot any scatter cushions though?

Very good!
I think there have been links on here to that boat before, but not the travel hoist.
I have a rather nice Squadron 78 model, given to me very kindly by Fairline when they stopped production of Sq78. I think it's 1:20 scale, so 1.2m long. No motors - it was for boat show displays - and if I had nothing better to do I should ship it to these guys in Germany and ask them if they would convert it to a working model
