The boat that grounded was in St Helens Pool. Had been for a few days. Up in NE corner. Looked an ideal spot, as you say. Don’t know whether they dragged, or decided to move.
The good news is that her crew returned, yesterday afternoon, and took her off, apparently unscathed, at high water.
Had a pleasant overnight in watermill last night but noted wind coming from all quarters. Not helpful anchoring if it blows up
indeed i will. Threatened F6 clearly not immenent and plenty of space to anchor. Biggest threat is running out of gas as only can use camping gas not calor and only lasts a week. Silbleys sometime next week i guessit’s not blowing much and there’s nothing threatening in the long range. . . . . . Relax and enjoy
