Oh, I am more than a second, third or even fourth. I should think they rate in thousands.

FullCircle,

exactly why ?

I would be happy to meet you and discuss this over a pint; unless you are just a prat like Tranona who homes in on my callsign whatever I say, on the rare occasion he speaks sense I acknowledge it as I don't stoop to his level.

Sorry, too busy having a pint with some decent conversation with Tranona and Angus McD, among many others. Didn't you get an invite?

I like to know all the ****t's are in one place, in a perfect world I could call in a Harrier laser guided bomb strike !

I hope you are all happy chatting about nothing useful, have fun

Andy

You would need a squadron of Lancs and carpet bomb to reach everyone in that place.

We have had all sorts from 3.1m Zodiac down, as SWMBO hates dinghies.

We have a Wetline 2.3m roundtail which was bumpy and wet for the 2 of us, 3 was a real adventure. It is now in the garage.

We bought a Walker Bay 8 with the inflatable tubes, its like heaven. Stable and dry. We store it on the foredeck for passages, but tow it for weekends. As it has a sail kit, its also fun for that (we had a Tinker Tramp Star Traveller, too heavy).

SWMBO is happy.

Will an 8' Walker Bay plane with say a 6hp. I'm tempted but their web site is vague on the subject.

I have always preferred precision bombing myself, though I was priveleged to work with Ray Grayston who was a flight engineer on the Dams Raid and later bombing where he joined the Caterpillar Club.

Re sailing you are talking BS to someone who knows and is experienced with larger boats so try better; if you're thinking size of boat, think again.

You are still delusional. Stay out of the sun.

44% ballast ratio, 7'7" beam - ballast and form stiffness, mine has done 24 cross-Channels and beat into a 7 with prolonged squalls of 11 while
offering comfort below, how about you and your boat ?

I'm intrigued - how did you measure the prolonged force 11 squall, and I am also interested in your definition of comfort below.

PeteCooper,

the F11 was measured by the square rigger TS Royalist which was fairly close; they were impressed by ' the little blue boat ' so hosted us for the evening in Cowes and gave us a lift home to Portsmouth the next day - the reason we were going to Cowes was repositioning one Easter before the mooring was ready in Chichester.

That day comfort was measured in shelter for my hypothermic chum, but usually you might be surprised by my boat in more normal conditions.

She's hardly unique, we are not in the 1970's.

Full Circle,

who's ' delusional ' now ? '

I can back up anything I say but I note a distinct absence on your part.

How about returning to the thread subject and seeing who can contribute...

Funny how those who start an argument I had no intention of run out of steam; how about listening to what I say about sailing in general then judging it rather than concentrating on my signature, I'd hate to think you're another second rate ill-wishing git like Tranona.
Will everybody stop giving Seajet the excuse to start. Its boring and off thread. Keep the lid firmly on this Pandora's box ( another boat to beat the A 22)

Pandora's are pure tupperware ! :)

If you don't want to hear from me don't start off with stupid insults then.

However I will voice any opinion I may have on subjects I know about; if you have the time and inclination to study back you'll find I discuss things happily - definitely not Anderson 22's ( there was also a 26 ) - until certain berks like Tranona and Full Circle home in on my callsign.

You mostly talk among yourself in a circular route to your area of interest - Anderson 22s. Very onanistic.

We have someone a little like that at work (we're a big site and have an internal system somewhat similar to these forums). In the end, the admins made him a special forum where he can sound off about his particular obsessions without disrupting everybody else, and those of us who find it amusing can go in and poke him occasionally. He still posts on the main forums more or less sensibly, but when he has a reply that relates to his particular area, he knows he has to post it in the special forum instead :)
