Thanks for all the (serious!) replies guys. Sounds like TCM has it sussed in that these so called marine units are not really marine quality after all. I have sent back my 100% stainless, 'No Rust', 5 year warranty ones under warranty now and will await their comments. No mention is made in literature about spraying with WD40 inside - in fact as I have done this it wouldn't surprise me if they say this has invalidated the warranty! Putting covers on may help I suppose but then again when underway covers are off and that's when salty type spray will get in I suppose. Have noticed a lot of UK builders do mount them pointing down high up on radar arch so maybe this helps.

Will feedback outcome as soon as I hear anything. Have just re-read info. on their web site where they set themselves well apart from other non-rust s/s horn companies so will be v. interesting! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
