I think he also has the angle of entry wrong, he needs to come off a short quay with more weight in the boot, (Maybe a couple of Labradors) and as you point out, at MUCH higher speed. Just remember whatever you do when you get her going, DONT LIFT.

I've heard of the car, it does look fun, but the photo just doesn't look right. I think it's the lighting or focus or something.

I shot it a year or so ago on a job for the Times, doing a profile for the Motoring section on the car/boat,
The previous frame shows the swans closer to the deck, but they disapper into the background, so this is my favorite.

Shot on a Eos 1D Mk11, probably iso400, 70-200 f2.8, post production would have been a bit of sharpen, and then levels and curves, I might have cropped in a bit as well..... but thats it!

I do admit even I was a bit surprised everything was sharp...

takes a real pro.

I drove in it to the lake but not on the water, it actually kept breaking down, the wheels wouldnt go up and down, or something.

GIbbs has a bit of a wierd idea as to how they are going to make money from them, they have set up a production line for a limited run at their HQ, but were trying to get a mainstream (Geddit) builder like Ford or something to build/market them under licence. They were talking about a price of £200,000 circa for the car.

They have also built this Quad Bike/Jet Ski combo...
