Yes - club cruise over to Flushing, Veere, Goes; via Nieuwpoort or Ostend. Weather currently looking so-so, an occluded front drifting across bringing light to moderate mainly southerly breeze, warm but overcast with possible rain.
Hollands going to be busy then were leaving dover sat morning for Dunkirk then Blankenburg Flushing middleburg Veere and goes 6 boats from Folkestone and 3 from Dover not such a secret cruising ground anymore is it ! jeffro NORDLYS
This weekend it's harbour festivities with lots of old ships in Ostend. Also a reenaction op the occupation by the Spanish. Harbour will be very busy, arrive early! www.oostendevooranker.be (not in english, only french and dutch)
Since al you guys & girls are comming over, might as well do the reverse trip from Holland to England. Had it all ready planned and got 5 days to spent, might be nice!
Say, anyone got a good tip for online weather forecast for the Dover-Ramsgate area?
Thanks, Rene.

Well first of all, good ol' England seems to be very PC these days. Nice and quiet too, since most of the boatpeople will come over to either Belgium or Holland. Major reason might be the thrill of the challenge (always seems to be, the first crossing). Besides, most pubs do have a small selection of chilled lager. If not, the first 5 luke warm pints will taste terrible, afterwards you won't notice any differences........
