RIP
Just got back from Plymouth last night. Nine hour bloody drive. No stopping, not even for a pee. Yet I did it on August bank holiday saturday in three and a half hours!! AaaRrrGggg.
Arrived Plymouth last Saturday after only a seven hour drive. Whats happening, four and a half is the norm. But Dave the dirty lurker from here abouts, was there to greet me. So things were looking up. Got a bill for the new headlining a week or two ago, so it must have at last been done. There it was, resplendant, he'd done a super job. Just one slight niggle. It's the wrong bloody colour, it's white, not just any white, but Dulux brilliant bloody white. AaaRrrGggg!! It's supposed to be creamish.
A quick phone call and LJS is on his way from Exmouth and spending the night in Dartmouth, so next morning rings the dirty lurker Dave, thinking we can have a nice leasurely cruise to at least Salcolmbe, before catching up with LJ. Course the lurker arrives late and Lj's set off soon. So is already passing Agatha Chrispy's Island, before we set off. Well this is going to be boring I thinks, seeing Blue fisher, a dot in the distance. So hatches a plan. We'll hide, sneak round the back of him and surprise him with a big
splosh../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
Now hiding a P35 on a dead flat sea is not easy!! So heads straight out to sea. He'll think it's some one else, wont he. Well. I'd sneaked about half way round him, when the bugger just stopped, and turned round!! Now wheres the sportsmanship in that??
Lj manages to book his spot in my marina, about three miles away, right round the other side of the pontoons. So after he and LJ junior had hiked round a couple of times, he did the sencible thing and came and rafted against me. But then boringly started talking about work and things, so buggered off home.
To be continued.
