Hi anyone know the approx weight of a folkboat with no mast and rigging
and also empty inside[but has some bunks/walls built in and no engine?

I would guess 1-1/2 to 2 tons based on the fact that my Twister weighs 4-1/4 tons with spars, rigging and engine.

The ballast keel weighs 1 ton. The overall weight depends on what's there.
 
I used to tow mine back and forward across Scotland, on a home-made trailer, behind a beaten-up old Landrover.

It aged me considerably.
 
Holman once observed that the weight of a Folkboat is the same as the ballast in a Mk1 Twister, lest she should have been criticised for being too derivative...
