Hi all
I have been watching this site for a while now and somehow:confused: missed the Jester Challenge but now you have put me in a tissy, I hope one day (soon I hope) to sell up and bluewater on a 40/45 footer because I really need to get away from all these Laws, rules and nannystate thinking and just do it for myself so at the moment I have a eygthene 24 and because I found the Jester Challenge and the lack of restrictions (well done all is not lost yet)
so will give a lot of thought to see if I can make it/have time, but from what I have read so far from the people who have signed up a few questions please
1) When after the first few hours do you mostly stay in a group or everyman for himself
2) Tend to stay in groups of likewise experience and skill
3) Would you coastal or bluewater it (weather permiting)
4)how many will sail back within a week or two ??
thanks for reading and will keep you all upto date with my plans

Hello,
1) I dodnt think any yachts stayed in groups for any of it, You just would'nt do that. too difficult to maintain.
2) No
3) Its straight out 242 deg. into the Atlantic
4) Most sail back within a week or two, some made a holiday out of it and flew family out
regards

Return

Once I'm down there and sobered up after a few celebratory bevvies I plan to stay a couple of weeks and return via Gibraltar.

All the best

David
