As a smaller than normal package of humanity I abhor sizeism of any sort. The "Small Boat Owner" thread on PBO is a particularly objectionable example of this insidious evil .. please do something!

Well I was not exactly gifted with the height required to frighten the neighbours either although I do find, as age and waistline increase in irrevocable harmony, that 'small owner of boats' does not necessarily equal 'person easily accommodated in small boats'.

There was a time when I found myself used in the boat equivalent of the sweep's boy, stuffed into inaccessible crevices to reach those uncommonly serviced items on an engine...like oil filters, belts and even dipsticks. But now alas, it doesn't work quite so well for me.

On the other hand I seem to remember you have kept your topside windage to a minimum, well, below throat level anyway, so if you want me to add sizeism to all the other isms I shall duly due it, reminding all at every juncture that it is not a personal hang up, you understand...
