Err.............................were you the spotty kid with thick glasses (which made your eye balls look massive) who always grassed to Spanker (the art teacher) when me mates where having a crafty fag behind the bike sheds?
Yes I have. It is a repitition of a post he placed against another Raymarine thread (which I did remove in order to keep the thread on track) and also a repetition of a mail he sent to me and, I am guessing, other editors. Clearly a very angry person.
Unfortunately when I see mutiple identical messages of this nature, all written in capital letters, I tend to think that the problem is well past redemption on all sides and also wonder what the second side to the story was. I've left the one example live but if I see any other identical posts they will be canned as this forum is for dialogue, not for bill posters.
I've run Raymarine kit for 15 years and have had issues with some of it including some weatherproofing problems but they have always been sorted -- and not just because of who I might be associated with judging by feedback I've had from elsewhere. I've also worked quite closely with Raymarine UK staff on rally-type events and feedback from participants about technical support has been positive. I didn'ty like it when the customer support lines moved to the US but hopefully that has been changed again. I hope that doesn't make me sound biased in any way because I am not but those are my observations.
If it has gone horribly wrong in Anatoly's case then I am sorry.
Must have been in a lather when he wrote it 'cause not sure what it means, pretty jumbled up. Been posted all over the internet wherever that particular manufacturer's name arises and a post is postable.
Strange?
{Whoops, sorry Kim. You must have posted while I was distracted here and then I pushed the send button later - rightly yours finishes the matter - }
