So what was their explanation for the leak(s)?
There hasn't been one yet. Interestingly they haven't even confirmed they're sending my boots back yet.

Probably walking or perhaps standing in water at some time!:encouragement:

Well presumably, since they reckon they are not at fault, they'll want paying for return shipping...
Mike.
Gill have so far replaced my boots in perpetuity each time they have leaked.Seems like a standard fob off to me. Needless to say we will not be purchasing any Henri Lloyd products in future, Musto, Gill and Dubarry for us I think!

I would still contact "The Big Boss" for his view with a link to this post.
My 15 yr old Dubarrys have just been refurnished for £60 & returend as new
So, there you have it folks, the life expectancy of Henri Lloyd boots is about 3 years if you don't wear them too often. I suspect they didn't determine the cause of the leaks, the boots show little wear on the soles so quite how they decide they're extensively worn is beyond me.
Needless to say, there'll be no more Henri Lloyd products being purchased by us in the future.

My HL boots are about 3 years old & very lightly worn, if they start leaking I will be expecting a somewhat better outcome![]()
