As your old boat got nicknamed Maggie how about "Magician" or "White Magic" or something along those lines.
alternatively if you really want to retain the links with your last last boat Magna Carter which was Dick Carter designed and as the new boat is bigger what about calling it "Magna Dick"? That would seem child proof! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your choice might be influenced by the reasoning behind Magna Carter (if it was your choice).
Our out going boat is called Maggie-Jane after my late grand mother who indirectly financed her. Therefore our new boat's name will follow the theme.
Current choice, subject to approval from The Register of British Ships, or what ever they call themselves, is "Emjaytoo". Other options on the same theme are "M-J II", "Maggie-Jane 2", etc
On a different note, will you change your Username to that of your new boat?

That's an unusual idea. Otherwise there'd be a load of boats sailing around called "Royal Bank of Scotland".
I know a lovely cruising couple who are now on their second blue water yacht which they outfitted themselves - they are Peter and Robyn, and the boat is quite simply called PR2.
And it suits them down to a T.
Or a P and R rather.
