help!!!!

Well the original barons signing the Magna Carta did include a "seneschal" . The duties of this official included the supervision of feasts, and domestic ceremonies. (This is not a comment on the size of the new patriarchal berth !)

Also (from the Wiki)
The British scholar H.S. Bennett described the seneschal's role by saying that "the seneschal must know the size and needs of every manor; how many acres should be ploughed and how much seed will be needed. He must know all his bailiffs and reeves, how they conduct the lord's business and how they treat the peasants. He must know exactly how many penny loaves can be made from a quarter of corn, or how many cattle each pasture should support. He must for ever be on the alert lest any of the lord's franchises lapse or are usurped by others. He must think of the lord's needs, both of money and of kind, and see that they are constantly supplied. In short, he must be all-knowing and he is all-powerful".

There was a post recently about the opposite to SWMBO, where someone suggested HWKE (He who knows everything), which I liked a lot.

"Seneschal" is just a little joust into history prompted by MC's moniker. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I always wanted to call a boat "The Fast Lady" but never had a suitable boat! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

"Mucky Farter" Now there's a good name /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Cheers And Good Luck to You BOTH

Relatively speaking

Mr & Mrs MC, is your new fine vessel going to be another Mucky (ooops, sorry, marvellous) Carter design?

If yes, then how about 'Einstein' or 'Relativity'?

As in E = M x C x C

Or just call her MC2 for short.

Oops, sorry, just read Mr MC's post, where he mentions that the MC's are currently ogling a lovely Oceanis - so how about MOC2? Poor effort I know, but it's getting late.

Agree strongly, the name's gotta be simple for coastguard.

A mate of mine when struggling to save his boat had to spell out the name on the vhf for the rescue people, and in the emergency there were other urgent matters to be dealt with.

How about 'Katie'?

Magnatastic!!!!!

Magneto

Porn Mag

hypomagnesaemia (The proper word for Staggers - could be quite apt!)

Does it have to have Mag in it, or could it be more off the wall??

Such as
