Help: Residential Moorings in/near Oxford centre wanted

Can anyone help to assist us in finding a residential mooring in or near Oxford centre. We want to get a boat and retire permanantly to Oxford. Any help or suggestions gratefully received

You may want to take a walk along the towpath. I was steering a 70 foot charity boat in October and there was a residential narrowboat for sale along there. You will need your wellies!

You dont remember roughly how far along it was or any other details, do you?

There is nothing much on the main river but the Oxford canal is full of residents, if you wander along the Canal from the centre towrds Jericho there is a Narrowboat residents association, they have flyers stuck to the boats, I would contact them first.
