I need a new bulb for our navigtaion light. but it is slightly odd.
At first glance it looks like a pretty ordinary festoon lamp, about 44mm long (1 3/4") but the end caps are different.
A normal festoon lamp has conical shaped ends that fit into a hole in each of the terminals in the lamp holder. But this lamp has conical indents in each end cap and there is a point on each lamp terminal that sits into the indents on the lamp. A sort of "inverted terminal" festoon lamp.
I am sure it is a standard type of lamp, and as usual, it is a case of asking the knowlegable on her what is the correct name for this type of lamp?
Oh and I want the replacement to be LED
