Hello to all,

I can see why in Northern countries hardtops do not make sense, but in the Med, believe me! , HT are the way to go....

I am not a HT owner, but I would like to be in the near future.

Just imagine 40c degrees noon time cruising in the Aegean, with the canvas opened! The air is so hot, you cannot breathe. With the HT closed, you switch on the gen and AC, and you are cruising like in a FLY inside. On the contrary after 5-6 PM the temperature drops to 30 and with the HT opened you get the pros of an open boat, fresh air.....

The above example is not a rare hypothesis, it is business as usual in our everyday holidays plan!

I have a sports but I don’t see Med flybridge owners on a hot day cruising inside with the a/c on.
Most I see have a bimini and are enjoying the breeze.
I don’t have your experience of the Aegean though.
