the 2 pillars in the cockpit, I believe these are 60mm diam, (not visible on the picture above) tobe checked by the crew onboard ;-)

for the fixing, I could have made a custom SS bracket,
but prefer a component available from stock,

such as this:


but this model is available for a tube diam max 48mm, and it does not look very strong,


or this one is for 60mm, its alluminium , also available for bigger diameters


this could work, with two brackets for each pillar

Hi Bart, what cover material are you considering? A ”shade cloth” type, good sun protection but with perforated holes and let’s water through it, or a complete sunbrella/conventional canvas and water-proof.

first idea was sunbrella cloth, but after having seen the pics from the old Feadship, probably going for mesh, still tbc (or perhaps both options, ;-)
