Hard leather on spray hood...

A quick question, is there any way of getting the leather trim on the top of my spray hood soft and flexible again. After a few years it has got really stiff... I have just replaced the leather covering on the wheel and I had forgotten how nice it is when new.

You could try white vinegar. The stiffness innthe leather is likely to be calcium build up and the acid in the vinegar will disolve this. Also works well in nwashing machines.
