Oh dear, this happens every year, Someone wishes us all a happy xmas a few days early and wakes Fred up. He promptly does his Bah Humbug routine and pretends he's the forum malcontent which makes me, amongst others, want to send him a gift wrapped jar of past their sell by date anchovies or pickled giblets or something equally bizarre.
Well, I'm not having any of it this year 'cos Ive won a really nice xmas hamper full of M&S goodies and 3 bottles of plonk and its just been hand delivered this morning by a very nice cheerful lady.
So, for me something nice has already put me in a good mood (rare, very rare ....) and I'm happy to reciprocate lisilou's good wishes and pass mine on to everyone else here as well - yes, including you Fred 'cos you're really a bit of a pussy cat and much nicer than you like to let on !
Taking 'er indoors to a Xmas Concert and Supper in Guildford Cathedral this evening but she doesn't know it yet ! Happy Xmas everybody.

Should be a good shout - some "proper" carols and favourites old and new - so you'll both have to join in; see if you can hack a Tenor line....
Played on a proper organ - a pedal reed should make the building vibrate a bit.
