Wishing everyone a happy Xmas, hope you have a good one.
For us it will be quiet with a motivation visit to the boat now she is finished, something to spur me on if I end up struggling again in intensive care after a planned op in Jan.
I will post results if I can, if you see a stabilised Abs 47 for sale you will know it didn't go so well :ambivalence:
This is going to be sh*t or bust, if it works life as normal which is the aim, the other outcome is an end to the pain & suffering which hasn't been pleasant to say the least. Either way I sort of win, business etc. all planned, family in agreement, Nicky is fed up with not knowing if I'm coming home every couple of months.
All that can have a good one.

I would also like to wish all my fellow forumites and their families a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year with safe boating and good health. And a special thought to Rubberduck, I hope that the New Year will see you at the helm:encouragement:

From this staunch leaver, to a staunch remainer, I wish you all the best for a positive outcome and hope that you enjoy many happy years with your family on your new boat.

It is easy to forget, of late, that these fora a filled with like minded people who would enjoy each others company in the real world. Despite our differences of opinion on the odd subject, we are all friends here and I am sure I speak for everyone when I wish you a happy Christmas and a healthy new year.

A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you also RD, think positively for a good outcome and I'll keep everything crossed as I for one am looking forward to your Cruise/trip reports in 2019

Also wishing a Merry Christmas and great New Year to all other forumites.

Martin

I respect you for your post which must have been quite emotional.

The medical profession continues to astound me that it can solve some very complex issues and I wish you all the best and a happy Christmas and of course best wishes for your procedure.

Best of health Rubberduck, reading between the lines I know it has been a difficult period for you in recent times.
Merry Xmas and happy 2019 to you and all your family. May it bring with it what you wish for.

Best wishes to all the forum.

I've been in hospital with a bad leg. Been bad for months now. Stopped me going to the boat and I'm worried about going skiing which is booked for late in the season.

Every time I even begin to feel sorry for myself I think of you and your tales RD.

Your are simply inspirational. Here's hoping that your bloody mindedness, determination and amazingly optimistic outlook is curative.

Happy Christmases.

I'm sure that nobody here is interested to see yet another boat for sale.
What we want to read from you is an extensive cruise report, where you and your family are having a great time with her! :encouragement:
Disappointing all of us is not an option, remember!
Have a happy Xmas, in the meantime.

I really hope you get to enjoy the new boat you have worked so hard for and everything crossed that all goes well for you in January.
Looking forward to the cruise reports over the coming seasons.
