Hanse 311 ?

Anyone got or sailed a Hanse 311 ? What do you think ? what are the pros and cons ?

(please don't comment on the 301 - it's too small, and the 341 is out of my budget!)

PBO has an article on the Hanse 311 this month, about a couples new boat.

That's what sparked my interest - but the article is about the smaller 301, not the 311.

well not quite yet! Will keep FM for another 2 seasons and am hoping to treat myself to a new boat - ordering around Sept 2003 -(S'ton BS probably) - so am allowing myself plenty of time for research !!

There have been a few tests within the last year or so of this boat. This publishing group and the opposition, it appears to test well and is from an established designer, all in all good value for money. Suggest with the luxury of so much time you buy the tests so you can i) read em again and again ii) start to build a shortlist to work from. (data comparison etc)
