With a crippled crew we limped out to anchor for lunch. The OG's race made a fine sight in ideal conditions. Not all the company was quite so congenial however. Anyone has my permission to torpedo the wally below, who has slowed down, temporarily, after my gesticulation near Bramble Creek.

We were right at the back of the OG fleet at that point, but starting overtaking relentlesly particulary over Horsey Mere so did ok in the end. That speed boat was left on Titchnarsh slipway pontoon, about 10pm had dried out lent and half over the lontoon such you had to walk round it.

The "J" is a Jewel, local racing craft timber/clinker built. Old Gaffers do of course accept bermudians if wooden/classic type craft in our cruises/races.
